This unspoiled island, located only 30 minutes from Cliff Point, features much of the habitat diversity characteristic of the Chesapeake region, from pine forests to meadows to tidal wetlands. The wetland-fringed shoal waters are teeming with ducks, geese, tundra swans and other migrating waterfowl, and three pair of American Bald Eagles make the heavier treed areas their home. |
